Eric Vallillee, B.A., J.D.

Managing Lawyer


Eric is a family law, divorce, and child protection lawyer in London, Ontario. He is also an agent for the Children's Lawyer for Ontario, and acts as children's counsel both in CAS matters and in domestic family court for the Office of the Children's Lawyer.

Eric completed his undergraduate degree in legal studies and history in 2012, followed by his Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law in 2015. During law school, he worked for the Canadian Legal Information Institute and a community legal clinic. He completed his articles, was called to the bar, and worked as an associate in criminal defence (for both youth and adults) in Toronto before moving to London. He then worked as a criminal duty counsel lawyer advising individuals arrested overnight, while also practising in family law working with a well-known London family law firm prior to opening his own law office.

Eric is well-versed in matters involving custody, access and parenting orders, child and spousal support, divorce, property issues, and CAS/child protection cases. He has assisted clients in obtaining police assistance and enforcement orders, as well as temporary injunctions to prevent the abduction of children by air travel, and worked on numerous cross-border files involving young children. His legal writing has been cited by the Alberta Court of Appeal, by senior counsel in facta submitted to the Supreme Court of Canada, and by the Law Commission of New Zealand.

Eric has appeared in courts across London and Southwestern Ontario, as well as in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, Durham Region/Oshawa, Milton, Orangeville, Kitchener, and in Ottawa, and is currently teaching Children's Law at Western University's Faculty of Law.

David Vallillee

Lawyer


David completed his law degree at Western University, passed both bar exams the following June, and returned to our office as an articling student before his call to the bar. He previously completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in law and legal studies at Carleton University. He has a keen eye for detail in his legal arguments and has a passion for advocating for his clients by problem-solving and putting every available legal tool to use for them as needed.

Outside of his legal work, David is also a licensed private pilot who flies for animal rescue charity Pilots4Paws, whose board of directors he is also a member of, and he also operates another small business, so he certainly empathizes with our clients as they try to balance their day-to-day lives with being involved in the court process.

Jacqueline Murphy, B.A., J.D.

Associate Family Lawyer


Jacqueline is an associate lawyer with our office taking divorce, separation, and child protection matters here in London and some surrounding areas. She completed her undergraduate degree in psychology and criminology at King's University College in 2019, followed by her Juris Doctor at Western University in 2023.

Throughout law school, Jacqueline volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and also worked a a student coordinator and mediator for Western University's Dispute Resolution Centre.

Jacqueline practiced with another family firm in London after completing her articles, before joining the Vallillee Family Lawyers team in 2025. 

She is dedicated to supporting and guiding her clients through every stage of the legal process - whether you're dealing with a separation or divorce, or facing a problem with the Children's Aid Society, Jacqueline is ready to help.

Evan Malcomson

Legal Assistant


Evan has been with our office since 2023 when he first joined us as a summer student. He graduated from Western University in 2025 and is now our full time legal assistant.

Evan assists clients with their financial disclosure and works on disclosure review, drafting, and assists our clients by keeping them updated on their files.

Evan enjoys working closely with our clients to make sure their disclosure is up-to-date, and that they have all of the information that they need about upcoming court appearances, next steps on their files, and he helps to ensure the smooth operation of our office as an important member of our team.

Anjali Kupchand

Law Student


Anjali is a second year law student at the University of Western Ontario. She assists with scheduling court appearances and adjournments, reviewing and managing disclosure and documents, preparing affidavits and ensuring that our clients have the most up-to-date information about their files when they need it. She also works with Pro Bono Students of Canada, and will receive her law degree in 2027.

Kelsea McPherson

Law Student


Kelsea is a second year law student at the University of Western Ontario and comes to us with family law clinic experience. She has appeared in court for clients under the supervision of counsel, and regularly assists in our office with scheduling court appearances and adjournments, reviewing and managing disclosure and documents, preparing affidavits and keeping our clients up to date. She will receive her law degree in 2027.
